Donna Ruth Balco Ohioville Donna Ruth Balco, 88, of Ohioville, died May 19, 2018, in her home surrounded by her loving husband and family. Born January 8, 1930, in East Liverpool, Ohio, a daughter of the late Robert and Helen Parsons Dunn, she was a devoted mother and caregiver. Donna graduated from Lincoln High School where she met the love of her life, husband, Byron Balco. They had been happily married for 67 years. She attended Sewickley School of Nursing, where caring for others quickly became her passion. An emergency room nurse, she continued her career with Dr. Gerace until her retirement. In addition to caring for others, Donna's greatest passion was her family. She believed that the key to a good life was a strong faith in God's love and the importance of family. In addition to her husband, Byron, she leaves behind five children, Debbie, Randy, Byron, Brad and Lynette; 15 grandchildren including RJ, Natalie and Courtney and her daughter, Jaeden, who helped care for their grandmother and 11 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the D.L. WILLIAMS FUNERAL HOME, 848 Midland Ave., Midland. A funeral service will be conducted Wednesday morning. Interment will follow in Beaver Cemetery. "There is nothing more beautiful than someone who goes out of their way to make life beautiful for others."
