A Florida pet owner has reported that an African grey parrot called Petra has learned to use the family’s Amazon Alexa to operate the lights in the home. Petra’s owners say the bird has a vocabulary of around 300 words, and likes to switch the lights in the home on and off at all hours of the day and night.
Man calls police after pig follows him home
An Ohio man resorted to calling for police assistance after a pig “relentlessly” followed him home early on Sunday morning. Officers managed to corner the animal, before loading it into a police car and taking it back to the station, where they named it “Zoey”.
Couple sues son to force him to move out of home
A New York couple has resorted to legal action to force their 30-year-old son to move out of the family home. Christina and Mark Rotondo say that their son Michael, who is unemployed, has lived in the home for the past eight years without paying rent or contributing to household chores.
