The Texas Rangers came up with a good solution for one of their TBA (to be announced) pitching holes with ace Cole Hamels set to go Tuesday against the New York Yankees.
The veteran left-handed is 2-4 with a 3.48 ERA. He was skipped last week with a stiff neck. Doug Fister was moved back to Wednesday's start and TBA is again in the rotation to star the series Thursday with Kansas City.
TOUGH TRIP: The Rangers (18-30 entering Monday's series opener with New York) were 3-6 on the last road trip and were shut out by the White Sox Sunday. Texas has held last place for 42 consecutive days.
