BENNINGTON, VT. — Vermont State Police are investigating a possible airplane crash in the vicinity of Bald Mountain, police spokesman Adam Silverman said.

Silverman could not release any further information on Sunday evening.

The fire department is staging in an area on East Road in the Vermont town near Mt. Anthony Middle School, Capital Region Fire Buffs report.
