Ujjain: Preparations for ‘CM Mazdoor Kalyan (Sambal) Yojana’ begin


Ujjain: In connection with ‘Chief Minister Mazdoor Kalyan (Sambal) Yojana’ to be organised here on May 27 in the presence of CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan, Divisional Commissioner MB Ojha and Collector Manish Singh held a meeting of officials at the Commissioner’s bungalow, here on Sunday. The Commissioner instructed the Collector to take necessary steps to host the programme in a grand manner. By allotting different works to the officials, better arrangements can be made.

The collector instructed officers to relocate dome and tents at the programme site and make them waterproof. He also gave directions regarding preparations for flower arrangements at the venue, setting-up of a health camp, stalls of different departments, etc. Dedication of various development works of different departments worth over Rs 5 crore will also be held by the CM. For this, all departments have been instructed to be present for detailed discussion in the meeting convened on Monday at 5 pm at Simhastha Fair office.

After the meeting, the collector inspected Nanakheda Stadium with officials. He directed officers concerned to get ground levelled by using JCB machine. He also asked to prepare ramps while discussing the entry and exit door etc. Regarding welfare schemes of the government, various departments will put up 70 stalls at the venue. Large coolers will also be kept by the district administration to get rid of the heat. The district administration has made an estimate that about 50, 000 people would attend the programme.
