"(He) walked in, seen the list of other people that have done it, turned around, got in his car and left... He just bolted, he was gone," Corden said.

The segment was scrapped when Adams pulled out and Corden said he hasn't heard from him since.

"I kind of understand it. I get it and I hold no grudge," he said.
