The first season of the Roseanne revival is officially coming to a close. The Connors will say goodbye for the summer on Tuesday night with one more round of laughs for the audience.
Roseanne returned to TV earlier this spring and immediately showed how much it was missed with powerhouse ratings. Overnight, the sitcom became the No. 1 show on TV, something ABC never wants you to forget. It's no wonder why. The show came into 2018 depicting the real life strife of working-class families with candor and humor, and America responded by tuning in week after week. The show was so successful it even inspired Fox to revive Tim Allen's Last Man Standing from the graveyard of canceled shows and put it on the network's calendar for next year.

Of course, the first season of the revival was shot before the show premiered so it was always limited to just an eight-week run. ABC quickly picked the show up for another season and the Connors will return to Tuesdays at 8/7c this fall to launch ABC's family sitcom comedy block.
The final episode of the season will see the Connors' luck take a turn for the better after a big storm hits Langford and Darlene (Sara Gilbert) realizes that she needs to go back to writing.
Get your afghans and pie ready to go. The final episode of the season airs Tuesday, May 22 at 8/7c on ABC.
