Minister of State in PMO Jitendra Singh has said that Narendra Modi Government at Centre is committed to equitable development of all three regions of the Jammu and Kashmir.
Addressing a function in Jammu on Sunday, Dr Singh said there has been no discrimination with any region of the State during the four-year rule of the current dispensation at Centre.
Dr Singh said the NDA government at the Centre tried its level best that all three regions of the State get equal share in development and progress. He said many new schemes and projects were introduced for Jammu region by Modi Government and funds allocated for the region are in no way less than the figures given to other regions.
He said that Biotech Park at Ghati Kathua, first seed procession plant at Kathua, Cable Stayed bridge at Basholi first of its kind in North India, first IIT and IIM for Jammu, first river cleaning project for Devika Udhampur, three passport offices in different districts of Jammu region, i.e Kathua, Udhampur and Poonch all are the major developmental projects of Prime Minister Narendra Modi Goernment in Jammu region.
