LUDHIANA: A train ran over a 35-year-old man at
Dhuri railway crossing on Saturday afternoon.
Ludhiana Government Railway Police (GRP) assistant sub-inspector
Sukhdev Singh said, “A lineman apprised us of the incident. Documents found in his pocket helped identify the man as Harjeet Singh, a resident of Ludhiana. The passenger train hit him while he was crossing the tracks. The train was going towards Ludhiana station from Dhuri side.”
The body was handed over to his family after a post-mortem examination.
