Liverpool news: Rio Ferdinand makes Cristiano Ronaldo Champions League final claim
REAL MADRID superstar Cristiano Ronaldo can only be stopped if Liverpool foul him in the Champions League final this Saturday.
That is the opinion of former Manchester United and England defender Rio Ferdinand.
Ronaldo has had another scintillating season in front of goal for Real Madrid.
Despite a quiet start to the campaign, the Portuguese's form in 2018 has been incredible, scoring 28 times in 21 games in all competitions for Real.
He returned from a couple of weeks out with injury by scoring in the 2-2 draw with Villarreal on Saturday.

Ferdinand has paid tribute to his former United team-mate and says Liverpool do not have many options of stopping him come the Champions League final in Kiev.
“Other than foul him?,” Ferdinand told talkSPORT.
“Just check this stat out that tells you how good this guy is. Eight seasons continuous he has scored 50+ goals.
“There aren’t people doing that in the Sunday leagues.
