Driver sentenced for hitting Vernon pedestrian
Police described it as a bizarre and violent incident. Two years ago a man in Vernon intentionally drove his car onto a sidewalk where he knew people were standing. One of those people was seriously injured, and another took out a knife and stabbed the driver. On Friday, a judge handed down a jail sentence in the case.
