Smriti Zubin Irani will participate in ‘Four years of Vikas Yatra’

With the BJP gearing up for the next Lok Sabha election, a galaxy of union ministers will descend on this politically crucial state to l hold meeting and popularise the policies of the Narendra Modi Government among the people on the occasion of completion of his four years in the office.

Modi government completes four years on May 26.

The beginning will be made by Union Minister of Textile Smriti Zubin Irani is scheduled to visit Basti on Monday where she will participate in a function ‘Four years of Vikas Yatra’ on the occasion of Four Years of NDA Government.

The programme will be held in Kisan Degree College in Basti where she will have interaction with the people and party workers. She will also educate people about the development work being carried out by the Modi government.

Two days later on May 23 Minister of State for Social Justice Ram das Atahwale will hold meeting in Fatehpur. There he will have meetings with villagers telling them about the programmes his department has launched for their welfare. Later he will also visit Lucknow.  

Not only Union Minister even Prime Minister Narendra Modi will made two visits to Uttar Pradesh. On May 26 he will lay the foundation stone of the Purvanchal Expressway. The function will be held at the Sadahi village in Azamgarh, the parliamentary constituency of Mulayam Singh Yadav, the patriarch of Samajwadi party.

The much-hyped Purvanchal expressway will be constructed in eight packages that will connect Lucknow with Ghazipur will be completed within 30 months. The high point of this Expressway is that it will connect four religious cities. Varanasi will be connected through National Highway 33 while Allahabad, Ayodhya and Gorakhpur will be connected through link roads.

So far over 91per cent of land has been acquired. Another high point of the expressway is that it will have 3000 meter long airstrip at Kedebahar in Sultanpur district which can be used by the fighter planes of Indian Air force at the time of emergency.

Modi along with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, is also expected to address a rally. The next day he will inaugurate the portion of National Freight corridor in Baghpat.

A senior BJP leader said the party is confident about its achievements and is ready to give its report to the people. Even Prime Minister will come to UP once every month and inaugurate projects and hold rallies telling people about the achievements of his government.
