The start went well for Delhi and they put up quick 30 runs in the first 3 overs A careless action from Shaw cost him his wicket and Delhi for no reason, lost one of its in-form batsmen. Bumrah got Maxwell's wicket soon and Delhi suffered the second blow. After suffering two setbacks, Delhi was looking for a recovery.
Iyer and Pant did manage to get DD on the track to some extent. The partnership came to an end as Iyer ended up giving a catch.
