CHARELSTON – Winning a state title capped off a crazy week for Brimonet Buggs.

The DeKalb senior sprinter became a six-time all-state athlete Saturday during the state final meet at Eastern Illinois University.

Just one day before traveling down to the state meet Wednesday, Buggs announced on Twitter she’ll be continuing her track career at Indiana State. She previously bounced back-and-forth between Indiana State and Illinois ever since the beginning of outdoor track season.
