No rain in sight, temp to remain constant

The temperature is likely to remain constant from 37 to 39 degree Celsius for the next three days in the Capital CIty. According to the weather bulletin released by MET Ranchi Observatory Centre on Saturday, the dry weather like condition will persist while chances of thundering development are very low in Ranchi and its adjoining areas.

“Dry weather will prevail in Ranchi and its bordering areas till May 21. As chances of thundering development is immensely low, there will be no rainfall here with temperature soaring above 35 degree Celsius. However, gusty wind will blow in the isolated regions at a regular interval bringing in some amount of respite for the city residents,” said an official of MET Ranchi Observatory Centre, Ravi Raushan Thakur.

 “With strong thundering formation in South Jharkhand --East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum, Simdega and Seraikela Kharsawan including parts of North East Jharkhand – Deogarh, Dhanbad, Dumka, Giridih, Godda, Jamtara, Pakur and Sahibganj will receive good rainfall bringing the mercury level down in the days to come,” said Thakur.

On Saturday, Daltonganj registered maximum temperature 42. 7 degree Celsius while at other districts maximum temperature ranged somewhere between 35 degree Celsius to 39 degree Celsius. The Capital City recorded minimum 23.1 degree Celsius.
