NAWALPARASI: As many as three persons were killed when two motorcycles collided with each other in Bardaghat Municipality of western Nawalparasi district on Saturday.

The deceased have been identified as Aashish GC (19) of Bardaghat Municipality-14, Santosh Neupane (21) and Ajit Singh Thakuri (30), both residentof Bardaghat Municipality-16 in the district.

According to police, the incident occurred when the motorcycle (Lu 37 Pa 1570) heading in a northward direction from south collided head-on with the motorcycle (Lu 10 Pa 4435) near Armed Police Force (APF) Border Security Training School,

Two persons were killed on the spot while another died on the way to Bharatpur for treatment, informed police.

Meanwhile, further investigation into the case is underway, police said.
