In Columbia, South Carolina, the host Gamecocks beat Liberty twice Sunday to end the Flames' season in the NCAA Tournament. 

The Flames beat No. 24 Hofstra in the first game of the Columbia Regional on Friday, marking their first NCAA Tournament win in program history. They followed that up by beating No. 11 South Carolina on Saturday before falling twice Sunday to South Carolina in the double-elimination tournament. 

Liberty dropped Game 1, 2-0, to snap a 19-game winning streak. The Flames also were shut out in Game 2, 5-0. 

By winning Sunday's Regional championship, South Carolina moves on to the Super Regionals.  

LU ends its season at 49-14.
