Man held for sexually abusing daughter

MADURAI

A 45-year-old man was arrested by Tirupparankundram All Women Police under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act on Sunday for allegedly sexually abusing his 12-year-old daughter.

According to the police, the girl, who had lost her mother, was abused by her father when she was alone at their home in Villapuram here two days ago. The police were alerted after the girl shared the incident with a neighbour.
