Triadelphia home damaged by afternoon fire

TRIADELPHIA, W.Va. - Multiple crews responded to a fire at a home on Shofar Lane in Triadelphia on Friday afternoon.

According to Ohio County EMA Director Lou Vargo, the call came in around 3:00 p.m. 

Vargo said the fire and damage were confined to the attic. 

He also said one woman was home at the time of the fire, but made it out safely. No other injuries were reported. 

The cause of the fire has not yet been determined. 

Triadelphia, Valley Grove, Bethlehem, West Liberty and Clearview Volunteer Fire Departments were on scene as well as the West Alexander VFD out of Pennsylvania. The Ohio County Sheriff's Office also responded.
