ALLAHABAD: A day before chief minister Yogi Adityanath's visit to the city to preside over a coordination meeting of Kumbh administration and Akhil Bharatiya Akhara Parishad (ABAP), the apex decision-making body of 13 akharas on Friday decided not to boycott 'shahi snan' at the upcoming mela.
The decision was taken at a meeting of Parishad held at Baghambari Gaddi.

The Parishad had earlier decided to boycott the 'shahi snan' citing slow pace of work for Kumbh 2019. "As CM Yogi Adityanath is personally monitoring the ongoing projects, we feel assured that all projects would be completed in time. Thus, we have rolled back our decision," said ABAP president Mahant Narendra Giri.
