SHO arrested for involvement in liquor trade: Police

The Special Investigation Team (SIT) of police arrested a (SHO) today for his alleged involvement in the illegal liquor business in the state.

The SIT arrested Pankaj Kumar, the of station, for his alleged nexus with the liquor mafia and patronising the illegal liquor trade in the area.

The police also recovered Rs 1.16 lakh from Kumar's official residence during a search, of Police N H said.
