The Council of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha, announced the result of the Class 12 exam in the science stream on May 19. Students can check their result using their exam roll no and registration no at orissaresults.nic.in

Of the 95,096 students who had written the examination, 73,211 students (77.98%) passed, school and mass education minister Badrinarayan Patra said while announcing the results in Bhubaneswar.

As many as 42,886 boys and 30,325 girls passed the examination this year. Last year 81.11% students had cleared the exam.

While 19,561 students passed with a first division, 24,164 secured the second division. This year there were 41 students who scored more than 90%.

Nayagarh district recorded the highest pass percentage of 92.23 %, while Gajapati had the lowest: 43.4%.

The results of Class 12 Arts and Commerce examinations are likely to be declared by the end of May.
