Afghanistan: 8 killed after multiple explosions at sports stadium

In Afghanistan, at least eight people were killed after multiple explosions at a sports stadium in eastern Nangarhar province last night. A cricket match was being played at the time. The spokesman for the provincial governor said, around 45 others were wounded.

The attack took place as players and hundreds of spectators were gathered for a nighttime tournament during the holy month of Ramazan. No one has claimed responsibility for the attack.
