Seniors from Waynesboro High School's class of 2018  crossed the stage to receive their diplomas Saturday morning.

Rolling the dice, they beat the weather as rain showers stopped with enough time to dry the seats and setup the stage for the big event.

Students remained relatively dry as they they sat together in front of the stage on the football field, celebrating their commencement with classmates, teachers, family and friends at the school.

And as Principal Tim Teachey stated: "I'm a glass half full kind of guy. ... Although it may be wet, at least it's not hot."

Faculty even lined both sides of the recessional (as is their tradition) to throw glitter on the graduates in addition to offering hugs and heartfelt congratulations.

What follows are a few moments from their graduation, followed by the gallery with all 78 of our images from the event.

Congratulations to the graduates !
