GAVS Tech’s pact with business schools

GAVS Technologies Pvt. Ltd., a global IT services and solution provider, has partnered with educational institutions and business schools to offer Artificial Intelligence (AI) and machine-learning training to bridge the industry-academia skill gap.

“Recently, we tied up with KCG College of Technology to build various technology solutions,” said Sumit Ganguli, chief executive officer, GAVS Technologies. “Prior to that, we partnered with IIT-Madras Robert Bosch Innovation Centre to work on machine-learning algorithms for Artificial Intelligence and the Great Lakes Institute of Management for building technology solutions.”

Two students from KCG College have already done a project at GAVS on Blockchain technology, said Annie Jacob, director, KCG College of Technology.

“About 12 students from GLIM were trained in management and new technologies at GAVS. We have designed this programme for corporates who are interested in skilling and developing their workforce in technology innovations and tech-driven decision making,” said Vaidy Jayaraman, principal and associate dean, distinguished professor-supply chain operations, data sciences and analtyics, GLIM.
