ALBANY — Albany Police received a call reporting a body in the Hudson River Saturday morning.
Police and emergency responders headed to the scene after receiving a call at 10:10 a.m., according to Officer Steve Smith. They found a man's body in the river south of the Corning Preserve Waterfront. The body was taken to Albany Medical Center to be autopsied, after which his identity will be released.
Smith said the investigation is ongoing, but that the cause "does not seem to be criminal in nature."
