Two pedestrians injured in crash outside Marion restaurant

Two pedestrians were transported to area hospitals after a crash outside a Marion restaurant, according to a news release from the Marion Police Department.

Shortly before 8 p.m. Saturday, police responded to Villa’s Patio Restaurant, 433 7th Ave. Two vehicles were involved and sustained minor damage, according to the release.

The two pedestrians were believed to have non-life threatening injuries.

One driver was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol. Names have not been released by the Marion Police Department at this time.
