Priyanka Chopra was the picture of grace as she reached the Windsor Castle for the wedding of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry on Saturday afternoon. In a fitted jacket and skirt in shades of lilac, she was all grace and looked a royal herself. What really caught the eye was her fascinator, the fitted hat that she has been talking about for weeks now. The Vivienne Westwood dress and Philip Treacy hat was a combination that had our complete attention.

Priyanka will be joining George Clooney, Oprah Winfrey, Serena Williams, James Corden and many other celebs who have been invited for the wedding. In a live video streamed on Youtube, the Quantico star was spotted talking to actor George and his wife Amal.

Priyanka Chopra earlier posted about visiting the iconic British fascinator designer Philip Treacy’s studio to pick out a fitted hat for herself. “Ohhhh, now I get it !!” the Quantico actress, 35, captioned an Instagram story video from inside the studio.

Priyanka also shared a photo with her team, suggesting they were all waiting for the dress she was to wear at Meghan Markle, Prince Harry’s nuptials.

She reached London a day ahead of the royal wedding. Dressed in a plaid pantsuit and a pir of Matrix sunglasses, she was a picture of chic. Her make-up artist Patrick Ta is also in London and shared an Instagram photo.

Just two weeks before the wedding, Chopra was asked on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen about what she was wearing to the royal wedding and she had said, “I haven’t even been fitted yet. I have an idea [what it’s going to be]. I’m more stressed out about a small hat. How do those things stay [on]?”

Priyanka Chopra and Meghan Markle have been friends for over three years now.

Talking about her friend Meghan Markle, Priyanka had told People magazine, “She’s just a really real girl. She’s a girl’s girl. She’s a really relatable young woman who is concerned about the world just like you and I are. That’s what I love the most about her. I feel like her authenticity is what’s going to make her really stand out in this new life she’s going to take on.”

Among other stars who reached the wedding include Oprah Winfrey, Idris Elba, George Clooney and James Blunt. Suits actors Patrick J Adams, Gabriel Macht, Gina Torres, Sarah Rafferty and Rick Hoffman will also be a part of the wedding.

The talk-show titan and the London-born Hollywood star are among celebrities, royalty, athletes and family friends among the 600-strong congregation invited to the gothic St. George’s Chapel, where the wedding will take place.

As the celebrations got underway, Queen Elizabeth II honored her red-headed, 33-year-old grandson with a new title — the Duke of Sussex. That means that Markle will become the Duchess of Sussex.

Harry’s status as a senior British royal and Markle’s celebrity after starring on the US TV series Suits for seven years has turned the wedding at St. George’s Chapel on the grounds of Windsor Castle into a global event. The wedding pomp and ceremony — complete with Anglican prayers and tradition, classical music and a gospel choir — as well as a horse-drawn carriage ride through Windsor will be beamed live to tens of millions of TV viewers throughout the world.
