Sena, Cong, NCP slam BJP for ‘horse-trading’

On a day when the Supreme Court ordered the conduct of a floor test in the Karnataka Assembly at 4 pm on Saturday, the ruling Shiv Sena, Opposition Congress and NCP on Friday came down heavily on the ruling BJP for allegedly using illegal means, including horse-trading, to lure Congress-JD(S) MLAs to win the much-discussed vote of confidence.

In a no-holds-barred attack on its senior alliance partner in the Centre and at the Centre, the Shiv Sena charged that the BJP, aided and abetted by the infamous Reddy brothers, were indulging in a massive horse-trading ahead of Saturday’s trust vote. “Using Reddy brothers’ black money, the BJP is going all out to purchase Congress-JD (S) MLAs. The BJP promised to bring black money from aboard. But, the fact remains black money is very much in the country.  If its “Mann Ki Baat” has turned into “Dhan Ki Baat”, then what difference that the BJP coming to power after defeating the Congress. The BJP’s Prime Minister, chief minister and Governor are toeing the Congress culture”.

“During the Assembly poll campaign, the BJP’s national president Amit Shah had inadvertently said that B S Yeddyurappa as the most corrupt Chief Minister.
