R&B will lay 408-km road in Agency: Minister

‘Promotions will be given to engineers in the department’

Roads and Buildings Department is going to lay 408-km highway between Rajamahendravaram to Vizianagaram covering entire Agency area.

Laying foundation stone for Narsipatnam-Tuni road along with Finance Minister Y. Ramakrishnudu here on Saturday, R&B Minister Ch. Ayyannapatrudu said that the government has laid 18,000 km of C.C. roads in villages and another 5,000 km will be laid before the year-end. He announced that they are going to give promotions to engineers in R&B Department and recruit junior engineers through outsourcing. Mr. Ramakrishnudu said that the State government is giving priority to road connectivity in Agency area.
