HYDERABAD: Telangana Eamcet-2018 results will be declared at 4pm on Saturday by education minister Kadiyam Srihari. This is the first time that Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University-Hyderabad (JNTU-H) had conducted Eamcet online.
The first phase of counselling will be held from May 25 to June 2 where qualified candidates can fill basic information online and pay the processing fee. Verification of certificates will be done from May 28 to June 3. Subsequently, candidates can exercise their options from May 28 to June 5, according to a press release.

Provisional allotment of seats for the first phase will be made on June 8 after which candidates can pay the tuition fee and report at the colleges by June 12. “This year, the certificate verification will also be done online. If students have their mobile number linked to Aadhaar card, they do not have to go to the MeeSeva centre for verification of certificates,” said Navin Mittal, commissioner, collegiate and technical education.

Candidates need to score a minimum of 25% of the maximum marks to qualify in Eamcet.
