Handunnetti reappointed to head COPE

JVP MP Sunil Handunnetti was yesterday appointed the Chairman of the Committee on Public Enterprises (COPE) unanimously.

MP Lasantha Alagiyawanna was appointed the head of the Public Accounts Committee and TNA MP M. A. Sumanthiran to the head of the Finance Committee. The recent prorogation of Parliament led to the dissolution of the aforesaid committee.
