Race 3 song Hiriye has Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez burning the dance floor.

With Race 3’s first song Heeriye, the makers of Salman Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez film have stepped on the fifth gear. The song has everything you associate with the racy thriller that is the Remo D’Souza film -- chutzpah, slick dance moves and Bhai doing the dance moves like only Bhai can. If it reminds you of Salman and Jacqueline’s past song, Jumme ki Raat, from 2014 film Kick, that is even better because that was a spectacular hit.

Like Jumme ki Raat, Jacqueline has once again worn a white dress while Salman looks funkier than before.

It’s a party number and an ode to the mythical love story of Heer and Raanjha, done Race 3 style. While Jacqueline takes the lead by showcasing her pole dancing skills, Salman follows her leads and soon joins her on the dance floor.

The song also bears some impression from Yaar Naa Miley (Kick) and Bandook Meri Laila (Gentleman). It’s a peppy number planned around Salman and Jacqueline’s chemistry. The song also uses Bhangra beats and EDM to jazz up the presentation, but it hasn’t surpassed some of Salman and Jacqueline’s earlier hits.

Composed by the Meet Brothers (Baby Doll, Chittiyan Kalaaiyaan), the song features the voices of Neha Bhasin and Deep Money have voiced the song.

At the trailer launch of the film, Salman said that he heard the script of Race 3 two years ago, but didn’t sign the film as he wanted some changes in it. He said, “It (the script) went like a bouncer. Ramesh (Taurani) Ji kept insisting on another hearing session. I heard again and it was a new genre for me. I just needed some changes because the kind of films I do, it was not fitting.”

Race 3 also marks Bobby Deol’s return to mainstream Bollywood, and he credited Salman for his return at the trailer launch. He fondly called Salman ‘mamu’. Bobby said, “Mamu is my angel. He is someone who believed in me and he got me at the right time when I was getting more focussed in life. I was preparing myself for work and he called and said, ‘shirt utarega?’”

Directed by Remo D’Souza, Race 3 also features Daisy Shah, Anil Kapoor and Saqib Saleem in important roles. It will hit the screens on June 15, 2018.
