A Bixby High School senior is among 300 students across the nation to receive a piece of a $3-million scholarship.

The Taco Bell Foundation awarded Autumn Andrews the highest award amount of $25,000 Thursday.

Andrews says she plans to use the scholarship to study art at the Kansas City Art Institute. 

8,000 students nationwide applied for the scholarship.
