
Upstate men plead guilty to transporting firearms

Three upstate men pleaded guilty Thursday to helping transport firearms stolen from Target Sports in Glenville, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office in the Northern District of New York.
Omar DeJesus, 31, of Amsterdam; Dalmary Morales, 37, of Schenectady; and Juan Saez, 35, of Rochester admitted their respective roles in moving 25 stolen pistols, shotguns and rifles between locations in Schenectady and Amsterdam.
DeJesus and Saez each face up to 20 years in prison, a maximum $500,000 fine and up to three years of parole. Morales faces up to 10 years in prison, a maximum $500,000 fine and up to three years of parole.
Jose Fontanez, 36, of Schenectady, pleaded guilty last month to stealing the firearms and Christian Roman, 24, of Schenectady, was indicted earlier for his alleged involvement in the theft.
