Dangal star Zaira Wasim, who impressed one and all with her performance in Secret Superstar, has bagged a major Bollywood project where she will be seen alongside Priyanka Chopra and Abhishek Bachchan, according to reports.

A Mumbai Mirror report claimed Friday that Zaira has been finalised for Shonali Bose’s next directorial that is inspired by the true-life story of Aisha Chaudhary. She will essay the role of Aisha in the film, it added.

The tabloid quoted a source as saying, “Zaira really liked the script and has given her nod to the project. Shonali is currently busy with the pre-production and is hoping to start shooting by the middle of this year in Mumbai. Priyanka and Abhishek will play parents to Zaira’s character.”
