Rohtas (Bihar): A Journalist of a daily newspaper was attacked on Thursday night by some unidentified persons in Sanjauli district . The injured journalist is the elder brother of the Deputy Chairman of Sanjauli Panchayat Samiti Madhu Upadhyay. One of the relatives of the deceased informed, 'The culprits were waiting for the journalist near Jigni village on his way from Sasaram to Sanjauli. He was first beaten with a stick and then shot by them.' Meanwhile, the injured is being treated at Karuna Hospital in Vikramganj. However, The causes of the attack are not yet known. Following this incident, journalists throughout the district have demanded strict action against the culprits.
