VADODARA: A superintending engineer working with the Sardar Sarovar Punarvasvat Agency (
SSPA), Vadodara believes that he is Lord Vishnu’s tenth incarnation – ‘Kalki’!
And since this Rajkot native is in the state of meditation of “fifth dimension” which promises to usher in a new era for the earth, this government official cannot physically remain present in his office.
This is the reply that
Rameshchandra Fefar has given to his superiors in writing after being issued a show cause notice for his long absenteeism from the office.
After being deputed by
Gujarat government at SSPA, Vadodara, Fefar had remained present in his office for only 16 days in the last eight months between September last year to April this year.
SSPA commissioner
Shahmeena Husain on May 15 had issued a show cause notice to Fefar asking the latter to explain his irregular presence and unauthorised absence from the office after he assumed the charge on September 22, last year. Fefar was asked to submit his reply within seven days or face disciplinary action.
But the superintending engineer’s reply to the show cause notice has left SSPA officials amused and equally shocked.
While in the covering letter directly addressed to the commissioner, he describes himself as the final incarnation of Lord Vishnu, the reply also has an appendix attached to it.
The appendix too amusingly describes how anti-God, who is full of animosity towards devotees of God, is turning lush green fields into deserts so that people stop believing in God.
“The anti-God caused famine in 2013, 2016 and 2017 but the earth got saved due to blessings of ‘Ma Jagdamba’,” the appendix forwarded by the officer states, further describing how he is fighting with anti-God with the blessings of the Goddess.
“It is important to attend office and pass time or meditate at home so that the country does not face famine,” the government official has questioned in his reply, further claiming that he is ‘Kalki’ and he has established ‘Satya Yug’ from September 16, 2012.
Responding to the unusual reply that they have received from a senior officer, SSPA officials said that they will be reporting the response to the Gujarat government.
“We have received the report and our administrative department is processing the same. The file will be put up before the commissioner in a day or two and the matter will be taken up with the officer’s parent department – the water resources department,” said
Nilesh Dubey, in-charge of media cell at SSPA.
