Andhra Pradesh Government Tribal Welfare and AP Social Welfare Residential School young students have set one more record by scaling the Mount Everest.
Five students of Social Welfare and Tribal Welfare Schools in the state climbed Mount Everest on Thursday. Out of the batch, of Five two are from the Govt. Tribal Welfare School, AP.
The Five Magic students who scaled the mount Everest belong to the Residential Schools from West Godavari, East Godavari, Visakhapatnam and Nellore Districts.
Prasanna Kumar from a remote Addateegala agency School in East Godavari District could successfully complete the expedition and brought name and fame to his Residential School and his village as well.
Prasanna and Raju in the team of Five, express their happiness on their climbing the Everest. At least 21 group has been trained for the expedition.
The AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has appreciated the efforts of the 05 young boys.
However, the five youngsters were trained and sponsored by the Social Welfare and Tribal Welfare departments of Government of Andhra Pradesh.
They were sponsored for the expedition and training by the Youth Services and by the Social Welfare and Tribal Welfare departments.
