The passengers were taken off the flight.
A Ryanair flight to Luton was aborted seconds before take-off on Friday morning after a warning light alerted the captain to a problem.
According to passengers, the aircraft was accelerating to take-off on the runway in time at 11.35am before it suddenly slowed town and taxied off.
The captain informed passengers there was "an issue" with a warning light on the back door and that "obviously" this could be an issue which could recur during the flight.
The aircraft returned to the stand and the 172 passengers were told to sit and wait for an engineer to arrive.
After about 30 minutes, the captain informed passengers that the problem would take a while to resolve and that Ryanair would be sending another aircraft.
Meanwhile, passengers were returned to the terminal. The aircraft left around 2.30pm.
