The yard could hardly be in better form, with eight winners from their last 29 runners and this jockey’s strike-rate exceeds 20% when riding for this outfit. With more improvement likely now tried over further and a 6lb rise in the weights manageable, the three-year-old looks good value at 3/1.

Richard Hannon has been enjoying a good season with his fillies this year, saddling the 1,000 Guineas earlier in the month and Dotted Swiss looks over-priced for the Marlborough trainer in the three-year-old sprint on the card. The daughter of Swiss Spirit was impressive when winning on turf debut at Nottingham last time out and the handicapper may have underestimated her with just a 4lb rise in the weights. With more progress entirely possible now tried on a quicker surface, she’s an each-way play at 9/1.
