Homes Under The Hammer: Lucy Alexander reveals fitness secret after HITTING BACK at fan
HOMES UNDER THE HAMMER presenter Lucy Alexander opened up about how she keeps fit on Instagram today.
The 47-year-old announced she was departing the BBC One property show back in 2016, however the star still features in episode repeats.
This morning, the presenter took to Instagram to keep her 14,900 followers updated about her day.
Sharing a snap of the gym she was in, Lucy opened up about one of the ways she stays in shape.
Revealing that she was about to take part in a spin class, the capture showed a series of exercise bikes.
Beside the photo, the star wrote: “It’s a Friday spin class! C’mon weekend!”(sic)
Lucy’s Instagram followers were quick to respond to the upload, with one admirer commenting: “Awesome.”
Another exclaimed: “What a way to reach a weekend Lucy.”
“Think that looks a bit energetic for me,” wrote a third, before asking: “How long does the class last?”
The remark came after one episode of Homes Under The Hammer saw the presenter interviewing two friends who had just bought a house at auction.

However, after Lucy had quizzed the duo on their plans, one Twitter user contacted the star to ask her about her choice of questions.
The viewer wrote: “How was that relevant? ‘What do your partners think about you working together?’ asks @LucyAlexanderTV of two women renovating a house…
“When did you ever ask that of two men #HomesundertheHammer?”
But, Lucy hit back at the criticism, stating: “I ask that of two men constantly when they are life long friends? It was in context…”
Following her decision to exit the show, after appearing in the series for 13 years, the presenter was replaced by Martel Maxwell.

BBC daytime controller Dan McGolphin said at the time: “Over the last 13 years, millions of viewers have enjoyed Lucy's infectious enthusiasm for property renovation; she has inspired many of us to improve our homes or to invest and improve properties that badly need it - Britain's housing stock owes her a great debt!
"I'd like to thank Lucy for all of the hard work she has put in, she has been there since the start and has helped to make Homes Under the Hammer one of the most informative, helpful and best-loved series of its kind.”
Having filmed her TV while the episode repeat aired on BBC One, she wrote the caption: “Enjoying a little bit of Essex viewing.”
Homes Under The Hammer airs weekdays at 10am on BBC One.
