Herb Society of America to give program on summertime beverages

“Summertime Herbal Beverages” will be presented by the Herb Society of America from 6 to 7 p.m., July 26, at Wildwood Cultural Center, 7645 Little Mountain Road in Mentor.

Attendees — ages 16 and older — can learn herbal flavor combinations for waters, “ades,” punches, and cocktails. Society members will discuss how to use fresh herbs from the garden and the grocery, fruit additions, easy to grow herbs and more.

Recipes and samples will be provided. Cost is $8 for residents and $12 for nonresident.
