Chennai Super Kings (CSK) chose to bowl against Delhi Daredevils at the Feroz Shah Kotla on Friday. This is an inconsequential league match for both sides, with MS Dhoni’s side having qualified for the knock-outs while Delhi Daredevils will finish at the bottom of the table.

The two-time IPL champions made one change with South Africa pacer Lungi Ngidi replacing England left-arm pacer David Willey. Delhi Daredevils made two changes, with Glenn Maxwell, who has been struggling in IPL 2018, replacing Jason Roy while Avesh Khan replaced South Africa pace bowler Junior Dala.

A win for Chennai Super Kings will seal their spot in the top two and give them two chances to enter the final. Delhi Daredevils will finish at the bottom of the table irrespective of whether they win their last two games.

Delhi Daredevils last won an IPL encounter against Chennai Super Kings in the 2015 edition in Raipur. Overall, Dhoni’s side holds a 12-5 advantage over Delhi Daredevils, having won their previous encounter in Pune by 13 runs.
