Inox Wind reports Rs 55.66 cr net loss in Mar quarter

Wind today reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 55.66 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 mainly due to lower revenues.

The company has reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 127.54 crore in the quarter ended March 2017, a BSE filing said.

According to the statement, during the quarter, the company's consolidated total income dipped to Rs 205.64 crore from Rs 1,033.55 crore a year ago.

The company suffered a loss of Rs 187.61 crore in 2017-18. It had reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 303.29 crore in 2016-17.

Total income of the company fell to Rs 504.20 crore in 2017-18 from Rs 3,480.32 crore in the previous fiscal.

Besides approving financial results, the board also approved appointment of Kailash Lal Tarachandani, of the company as its for a period of one year from May 19, 2018. He has been re-designated as and CEO of the company.
