Mt. Pleasant Presbyterian Service Set
Worship at the First Presbyterian Church in Mt. Pleasant will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday. Noah Lapp will be sharing his experience as a Missionary in Iraq. Following Worship there will be time of fellowship with refreshments.
Mt. Pleasant Methodist Service Set
Mt. Pleasant First United Methodist Church celebrates Pentecost twice on Sunday, with traditional worship in the Sanctuary at 9 a.m. and contemporary worship in Fellowship Hall at 11 a.m. The church will recognize high school and college graduates, honor Cheri Recker for many years of teaching pre-school, and encourage people to write letters on behalf of Bread for the World. Pastor Diane Gordon’s sermon is about “The Power of Hope.”
Alma Baptist Service Set
The Alma First Baptist Church will celebrate Pentecost with worship at 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Sunday. The Chosen will perform a free concert, but with a love offering. The church will also host a country gospel jamboree at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, with musicians from around central Michigan. The Alma First Baptist Church hosts Sunday morning worship at 10:30 every week at 534 N. State Street.
Rosebush UMC Announcements
The Rosebush United Methodist Church worships at 10 a.m. on Sundays, Kids’ church and nursery also available. There’s a time for fellowship and refreshments after service, located at 3805 School Rd. in Rosebush. The Tough Questions Series will resume at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, June 6 and continue on the first and third Wednesdays of the month. Also, a Monday night service is at 6 p.m. on Monday, June 4; at 9 a.m. on Sunday, June 3 is the Life Groupe Series. The REAP free food panty is held from 9 to 11 a.m. on Thursdays, at the St. Henry Church – corner of Mission & Vernon Rd. A valid Michigan I.D. is required.
Christian Music Artists Perform
Christian Music Artists “The Chosen Ones” will be performing at the Seville Community Church of God at 6 p.m. on Saturday, June 2, and during worship at 11 a.m. on Sunday, June 3. The church is located at 8360 West Monroe Rd. near Alma.
