Tirupur: A 65-year-old man succumbed to injuries on Thursday after a vehicle hit the moped in which he was riding in the city on Wednesday.
The accident took place while he was riding in his moped on Vanjipalayam-Avinashi Road. R Subramaniyan of Vanjipalayam sustained grievous injuries on his head. He was rushed to a private hospital in Coimbatore, where died the next day. The Anupparpalayam police have registered a case.
