Child car seat safety check set for May 29

DeKALB – Target, in partnership with the DeKalb Police Department, will hold a child safety seat check from 11 a.m. to
2 p.m. May 29.

The event, which is free to the public, will be in the parking lot of the Target at 2555 Sycamore Road.

Certified child safety seat technicians, including police officers, will be on hand to answer questions, inspect safety seats and assist residents with properly installing the seats into their vehicles.

To ensure the best fitting of the safety seat, it is recommended that the child be present at the event.
