Mustard seed futures drop 0.48 pc on spot cues

At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, seed for delivery in May month contracts receded by Rs 19 or 0.48 per cent to Rs 3,925 per quintal, with an open interest of 1,350 lots.

Analysts said trimming of exposure by participants coupled with a weak trend at the spot markets on softening demand from pulled down mustard seed prices at futures trade.
