Telangana gearing up for Ramzan arrangements

The Government administration in Telangana has pulled up its socks to make foolproof arrangements for the holy month of Ramazan, which is likely to start from Thursday.

The State Government has announced that the Muslim employees can return home one hour before the usual timing of 5 pm during the month of fasting the Urdu medium schools will work only half a day till the end of Ramazan.

Meanwhile all the key department including the police and municipal administration has geared up to make the necessary arrangement specially in the old city of Hyderabad.

Addressing a consultative meeting with the community elders and the religious heads the city police commissioner Anjani Kumar said that the police force will be at the service of the people round the clock to ensure safety and security. Greetings Muslims at the onset of Ramazan he said, "we will not give any scope for complaints. From the Commissioner to the Home Guards entire police force will be available and policemen will be in duty even after the Taraweeh prayers".
